Goal: Cooking with the seasons, what veg to be cooking with? Warming dishes etc (Apples, Beetroot, Brussels Sprouts, Carrots, Celeriac, Celery, Chicory, Jerusalem Artichokes, Kale, Leeks, Mushrooms, Onions, Parsnips, Pears, Red Cabbage, Salsify, Savoy Cabbage, Spring Greens, Spring Onions, Squash, Swedes, Turnips, White Cabbage)

Post copy: It’s always such a joy to eat with the seasons and January’s crop is one of our favourites. Celeriac, leeks, mushrooms, parsnips, cabbage, squash are all begging to be made into winter warmer dishes like roasts and soups. Our favourite at the moment is a celeriac and potato rosti to complete a hearty English breakfast.

Thursday 5th Jan

Goal: Talk about striving for a more eco-friendly 2024.

Post copy: We’ve been thinking about turning over new leaves for the planet – like cutting down meat intake, shopping small, buying local, and switching to Respectful eggs. These are easy ways to reduce your carbon foodprint and ‘do your bit’ in 2024. What goals are you setting?
